Early in November, I met Yvette + Mike (and MOH, Charmaine) downtown for their engagement shoot with Joee. Normally on an engagement shoot it’s just the couple but Charmaine was a pleasant surprise. She tagged along since she’s interested in photography and was super helpful throughout the shoot. It was November, so most of us (except Joee) dressed like it was winter but the day turned out really mild, so Charmaine being the awesome MOH that she is helped with carrying the jackets, scarves, etc, which is sometimes a responsibility of a photographer’s assistant (carrying random stuff to help de-clutter the shot). She learned quickly to juggle many things while holding her own camera too, all part of the job hehe. Back to our reason for the shoot, Yvette + Mike, who will be getting married this coming March. Those of you who know Joee know that he doesn’t shoot weddings in the winter, so you know that these two are extra special for Joee to make an exception for them. If their engagement shoot is any indication to what their wedding will be like, well then I’m prepared to have a really good time and to be laughing till my cheeks hurt – all day. This shoot went by in a blur, it was over before I knew it! Well that’s what happens when you’re having a great time and it feels like you’re just hanging out with friends. Can’t wait to see what these two have planned for their wedding that’s only a few months away!
