Ok, so I’ve been very lucky in my photography career to have come across some of the kindest and most genuine people, and not only are Kahla and Marc one of those people, they have to top my list for the most romantic as well. The way Marc proposed to Kahla is straight out of a movie, let’s just say there was a horse drawn sleigh in Banff with the majestic mountains surrounding them…and oh, you know that kind of perfect fluffy snow that floats gently down, yeah they had that too! Everything just worked out perfectly and it ended with Marc popping the big question and happy tears streaming down Kahla’s face. Really melts my hopeless romantic heart!
For their engagement shoot, Kahla wanted to go somewhere that was meaningful and since our timing didn’t allow us to go back to Banff where the proposal happened, we decided to go to Unionville Main St. where Kahla spent a lot of her childhood. We walked all around the area while Kahla reminisced about her childhood and shared lots of fond memories with Marc.
Of course Marc, being the thoughtful groom-to-be that he is, surprised Kahla with a bouquet of her favourite flower, blush peonies, for the engagement shoot.
It was such a sweet and relaxing engagement shoot at Unionville, I know it will be just the same at their wedding when they get married tomorrow at Whistle Bear Golf Club in Cambridge.
