When Joee and I arrived at Sharon’s parents’ place (where I got to assist), Sharon greeted us with a big smile and excitement! We walked in and you can just feel the energy bubbling around us. There’s girls everywhere getting their hair and make-up done and Sharon happily chatting away with the girls. I love it when there’s that perfect balance between excitement and calm, makes it so easy and fun to photograph! Sharon’s gorgeous smile and constant laughter was so infectious, it was an amazing start to their special day!
Moments before walking down the aisle at the Richmond Hill Chinese Christian Church.Right after the ceremony as everyone was heading to their cars it started to rain and when I say rain, I mean buckets and buckets of water pouring from the sky! Luckily the reception at The Manor in Kettleby was about a 30-40 min drive away, so by the time we got there the sun came back out and we were treated to some sweet after-the-rain lighting. The Manor was a really beautiful location and the staff there were so nice and attentive! And the food was de-lish! I don’t think I left a single crumb on my plate hehe.At the end of the night, the cinematography team of BlueSky productions revealed their Same-Day-Edit and it was awesome! Everyone was laughing so hard. I don’t think I’ve laughed so much at a wedding before! After watching the SDE and photographing them all day, I’m sure their marriage will be filled with love and laughter each and every day!
