Rachel + John | Engagement

What happens when you put 2 elementary school teachers together? You get the sweetest, most caring and super modest couple, Rachel and John. When we first met, Rachel and John were both so relaxed and easy going, the only thing that got them kind of nervous was the idea of being in front of the camera. Rachel made a reference to Friends (being a huge Friends fan, I was already laughing to myself because I knew where she was going with this), they were referring to the episode where Monica and Chandler get their engagement photos done and no matter what they do they can’t get Chandler to act natural and every thing comes out super awkward, way too funny! I assured them that the same thing would not happen to them but would be a good thing to think about for a good laugh.

For their engagement shoot we went to Unionville Main St (where they had their 2nd date) and then to Richmond Green (where they had their 1st date). It was so sweet to watch them relive the early parts of their relationship. On their first date at Richmond Green, Rachel didn’t even know John was going to take her there but they ended up walking around and talking for 5 hours! You know there’s definitely something there when you can do something so simple as just talking for 5 hours straight on your first date!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedDefinitely no Chandler here! I can’t wait for their wedding at The Rosseau in Muskoka next month!

You’re amazing Heidi!! It was a lot of fun… can you tell we were giggling through the whole shoot?? Gary deserves some credit too, after all he was the one who got stuck holding the balloon and my pink purse!ReplyCancel
