Patricia + Greg | Wedding

As I look outside at the snow, I wonder how did fall go by so quickly? I mean Christmas is less than 3 week away and 2011 is just around the corner! So before my mind, body and spirit goes into holiday mode I wanted to catch up on all the amazing events that I was a part of these past couple of months when the sun was still out and people weren’t fully bundled up in their winter gear yet.

Back on the first day of October, it was Patricia and Greg’s intimate wedding at the beautiful Miller Lash House. I was assisting Joee that day, along with Chris. I started out with Joee in the morning with Patricia and her immediate family. Everyone was really chill, just hanging out and watching Ming Justin Cheung work his magic on the Patricia’s hair (he also styled Patricia’s mom’s and sister’s hair later on) and Karen Chen-Richardson beautifying all the girls.

Patricia and Greg’s wedding was one of my favourite weddings this year, it was such an intimate affair which allowed them to really go all out on personal touches and spend time with each of their guests. They chose a really unique theme; School, and no detail was spared. Patricia’s not a huge fan of flowers so they came up with all kinds of really fun and different ideas for their decor and I loved everything they did, a definite treat to photograph! In case you’re wondering why there’s math, it turned out to be the seating chart, each guest had to figure out where they were sitting by working out all kind of equations. They ranged from simple BEDMAS to calculus, which I’m sure the complex ones were there to challenge Greg’s engineer friends hehe.Getting a peek of her groom right before the ceremony.Patricia walked out by herself, then Greg came up the aisle to meet her halfway and they walked down the rest of the way together, I thought that was really sweet.During their reception, they had different friends and family members come up to say speeches. You could tell how much they meant to their friends and family and vice versa from the words that were spoken. Definitely lots of laughter, tears and “awhhh”s throughout the night. On to the next chapter of their lives together. 🙂
