I’ve been back for a week now and I feel like I’ve finally kicked my jet lag in the butt and I’m back to my old routine again. Last week was brutal with the heat and passing out at 9pm and waking up at 5am lol, it really made me miss being in Europe! However, it is good to be back home, I always feel like that no matter how good or bad of a trip I’ve been on, nothing beats the comfort of home.
But before I get too comfortable, let’s take a little visual trip back to Paris, the city of love! It was so surreal to see Melanie + Anthony in Paris, they looked so happy and energized back in their home. Of course we greeted each other the French way, “bisous bisous”, after all we were in Paris! We spent the morning walking around the Montmatre area which happens to be one of my favourite areas in Paris, lots of little boutiques, artist’s stands, creperies and pastry shops. Part way through the shoot, Melanie + Anthony treated us to some French pastries which I was more than happy to eat, especially since they ordered things I’ve never tried before.
Btw, we were all very jealous of Anthony’s tan from the French sun! They are so sweet together, l’amour 🙂After a quick lunch at a yummy French restaurant/cafe, we headed over to the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and took a stroll by la Seine, Melanie’s favourite part of Paris where the vendors put up little stands to sell vintage books, prints, souvenirs, etc. What a day that was! Lots of love, sights and yummy treats, a girl really can’t complain! Stay tuned for their wedding photos 🙂
