Irene + Anthony | Wedding

There’s a saying that rain means luck on a wedding day, I’m not sure if it’s actually true or if long time ago someone came up with that to calm a bride down. Well let’s just say if it is true, Irene and Anthony will have enough luck to last multiple lifetimes, it was pouring buckets on their wedding day (I think parts of the city actually flooded). Of course being the cool and relaxed couple they are, they just shrugged it off and went to plan B for their ceremony (and plan C for their creatives hehe). Even though it wasn’t the outdoor wedding that they dreamed about, their “indoor” tent ceremony was beautiful, intimate and relaxed, the beginnings of an amazing wedding. They didn’t let the weather bring them down and focused on what the day really was about, them getting married in front of all the important people in their lives that they love dearly. The first time we met 2 years before their big day, all they really had booked was their venue. They weren’t really sure what they envisioned for their wedding day but knew that they wanted to involve their friends and family in the planning process. I have to say it all turned out so well and it was so incredibly emotional which made it so memorable. I loved how at the end of the night when Irene and Anthony were doing their thank you speech and listing out all the people they have been a part of their day, they were so genuinely grateful to their friends and family, they didn’t miss a single person no matter how big or small their involvement was. Especially when they were thanking their parents, all the memories they share and new ones that have formed recently and then talking about how they will take care of each other now so that their parents don’t have to worry about them, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. Irene, hopefully you’ve mastered making soup (Chinese style) and Anthony still remembers that Irene is always right 😉
